For deleting enemy patrols while staying useful against armor, a strong all-purpose loadout is:
- **Primary:** **Scorcher** or **Adjudicator**
- **Secondary:** **Grenade Pistol**
- **Throwable:** **Thermite Grenade**
- **Stratagems:**
1. **Eagle Airstrike** — best general patrol wipe; also destroys many objectives
2. **Orbital Gatling Barrage** — fast cooldown for clustered infantry and breaches/drops
3. **Recoilless Rifle** — removes heavies and dropships
4. **Orbital Laser** or **500kg Bomb** — emergency base/large-target clear
**Armor:** Light or medium armor with **Engineering Kit** for extra thermites, or **Scout** for avoiding unnecessary fights.
For maximum efficiency, throw the **Eagle Airstrike perpendicular to the patrol’s path**, then use the Recoilless on anything armored that survives. Against mostly light Terminids, swap the 500kg/Laser for **Eagle Napalm** or **Gas Strike**. Against Automatons, the **Autocannon** is an excellent Recoilless replacement if a teammate already handles tanks. Meta balance changes frequently, but Eagle Airstrike remains the safest general-purpose pick.
